Now this definitely isn't the best Benchy I've gotten off my Cetus, there are more than a few small issues, but it's the only one I've printed so far with S3D. So adjusted that in Simplif圓D and got better results. I initially was having the same issue last night, then I busted out the caliper and saw that the sample Cetus filament was measuring 1.65mm Ok well I did a benchy last night and have the profile, but right off the bat I may know why you are under extruding so bad. Do you have any filament other than the sample stuff? I still have some, so I'm happy to print a 20mm cube or a benchy with the same profile I share so we can compare apples to apples. No one can just give you a magic setting to change without knowing what your printer is outputting.Įdit: Not at home at the moment, but I'm happy to share my current Simplif圓D profile. diagnosing these things isn't easy, so you need to be meticulous in gathering information and documenting your prints to help with that. It's very possible that something is mechanically wrong with yours. This was literally my first print with the Cetus, using sample filament and at default settings. Print speed in the Cetus software can be set to Fine, Normal or Fast. Also while in that menu, ensure it's set to the right nozzle. Change the material in the Maintenance menu to Customized and set up an alternate PLA setting. Even after what must be at least a hundred hours of printing in the last 2 months, I still constantly tweak settings, but I get mostly really good results.įirst, lower the temp to 200c, or even 195. I have a retail unit that is working just fine.
